Melbourne Writers Festival Workshop in partnership with Writers Victoria 

Join award-winning historian, journalist, screenwriter and author Mark Dapin (Carnage) for a workshop that answers the practical questions faced by first-time true crime authors. From how to access information like inquest reports and court transcripts to interviewing lawyers, criminals and detectives – and how to figure out who is telling the truth. Dapin also teaches you how to structure a gripping story that reveals key details incrementally without spoiling intrigue or suspense.
